Directions By Car
Kinbrae House is located on Gyllyngvase Road above Gyllyngvase Beach on the South West side of Falmouth.
When arriving in Falmouth from Penryn follow the road past Lidl and Pets at home. At the next roundabout take the second exit and head up the hill and pass through two sets of traffic light until you reach the Rugby Club round about.
From the Rugby Club take the second turning to the left which is Melville Road. Stay on Melville Road and go straight across the next roundabout and head downhill past the Fox Hill Park and Rosemullion Vets on the left. Rosemullion and Tudor House Guest Houses are on the right.
Just before the traffic lights take the road to the right marked Gyllyngvase Road. Gyllyngvase House Hotel makes the corner on the right hand side and Kinbrae House is the second property on the left at the top of the road which leads directly to the beach. Once you see the sea you have arrived!
A sign for Kinbrae House marks the entrance to the car park which is at the front of the house. Two lovely copper beech trees frame the granite walled entrance to the car park.
Directions Arriving By Train
Kinbrae House is located on Gyllyngvase Road which is located about 5 minutes walk from the Town Train Station.
When arriving at Falmouth Town Station alight from the train and walk down the ramp to the car park. Walk through the train station car park and turn right and head up the hill under the railway bridge. At the top of the hill cross the road at the traffic lights. Walk onto Gyllyngvase Road. Gyllyngvase House Hotel makes the corner on the right -hand side and Kinbrae House is the second property on the left at the top of the road which leads directly to the beach. A sign for Kinbrae House marks the entrance to the car park which is at the front of the house. The house is painted a pale grey and ivory and has lovely Edwardian timber windows and a dark blue front door with stained glass. Kinbrae is also sign written in the glass panel over the entrance door.
